At this age, children develop their communication, physical and social skills at a significant rate. At Shining Stars daycare, the educators focus on promoting one on one interaction, literacy, interactive play, language and math. Weekly themes are planned according to children’s interest. The educators adapt to the inclusive approach and alter activities for developmentally delayed and gifted learners. This includes early literacy and numeracy, as well as individual mentoring led by our educators. A play based learning approach is followed to help children develop their language, literacy, math, science and social-emotional skills.
